Well, I've started on a new design with these yellow hexagons. I used a Sizzix die cutter to cut out all of my fabric and paper pieces. It was so effing awesome. It only took me about 20 minutes to cut out a ton of hexagons.
I'm making more of a free-form honeycomb design this time.
Hopefully it will have an organic look to it once I'm done.
Oh, and I finally figured out how not to drop my scissors. I'm awesome.
The honeycomb design looks super cute already and I LOVE your scissor solution. Pretty ingenious.
