Something Green

In celebration of St. Patty's Day, here are some green things that I want in my life right now:

This poster is awesome. But, really, all I want is the non-green Guinness.

These Seyechelles sandals are so pretty!

There are a lot of green dresses at Anthropologie, but today this is my favorite. It might change tomorrow, though.

Last but not least, GREEN MAN! I want him at my house. right. now. And if you don't know who he is, then please check out It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Topsy Turvy Weekend

I feel like the weekend was so long ago right now. For some reason no one told my alarm clock that Daylight Savings happened. Instead of letting me sleep till 7am, it thinks I need to get up at 6am. What a jerk it is!

On Sunday I celebrated my father's birthday with a very delicious Tex-Mex brunch buffet. Oh, why do I think the definition of "buffet" is eat everything insight? I did work off the tiniest bit by playing badminton with my brother, his wife, and his 5 year old daughter. My niece created a new way of playing. I think she combined musical chairs and badminton. It was a lot of fun.

Our Topsy Turvy has been empty since we got it way back in October or September. But we picked up three tomato plants and a serrano pepper at HEB. They were only 75 cents each! If you don't know about HEB, then you don't live in Texas. It's the best grocery store EVER!

This is our new neighbor! His name is Buddy. Apparently he was going to be Easter dinner, but my neighbor looked into those adorable eyes and couldn't do it.

Gigi barked at him for the first couple of days. But now she just wants to eat celery like Buddy. Look at her curled tongue!

He's still very much a baby and likes to nibble on fingers.

I did take a break from sewing this week to crochet a Dr. Zoidberg pillow. He's one of the best cartoon characters to be created. He's just so hilarious.

And here's a picture of my Gigi monster enjoying some sunshine. She gets very annoyed with me if I don't keep the door open for here to come back and forth.
