easter in austin
Scott and I took a drive to Austin on Easter Sunday. The best thing about arriving in Austin? We were greeted with bottomless mimosas at The Belmont. After serving brunch for most of my college years, I'm the happiest girl in the world when I get to be served brunch.

The Belmont is super cool inside. I felt like I was walking onto the set of Mad Men.
Remember the quilt that I'm working on? How cool is this mural at the Mexic-Arte Museum?
The murals were done by Federico Archuleta. On his website he calls his style of art "Tex-Mex-Sexy." I like to call it awesome, but to each his/her own!
There's so much Día de los Muertos imagery in Austin. This guy is one of my favorites that I saw. I was sad because the shop wasn't open. I'll have to remember to walk down S. Congress the next time I'm visiting the capital.
How is it that I can find images of Gigi where ever I go?
